It's been a fantastic fall in Door County! The cool, dry, bright sunny days were most welcome. Now we watch for the weather to turn. November is here.

Come to Door County and enjoy the peace. Door County is a wonderful place for a "staycation" since you're most likely "stay" - ing a little closer to home yet you'll get the feeling of really getting away on
va - "cation".

Pumpkin Patch Festival 2008 in Egg Harbor was fantastic ... the weather was superb and the fall colors were some of best seen in years. This event is consistently successful year after year, and many people put it on their annual calendar. It's a lot of fun for all family members. The scarecrow and pumpkin displays of Pumpkin Patch get more and more sophisticated and clever each year. There are awards for the best displays. Were you there? We'll be posting photos soon, and you might be on one, so check back.

Sister Bay Fall Festival was October 17 - 19. The usual fun events did happen, including the popular ping pong ball drop and the car show. We showed "Doris", our '61 VW Sedan, at the Lions Club Car Show in Marina Park. Photos will be posted pretty soon.

A milestone ... We recently celebrated our 75,000th visitor to this site since it launched in July, 2005. Every month we grow a bit more in web traffic. Our rankings for Door County keywords in the major search engines are also increasing quite nicely. This means more and more visitors and Peninsula businesses are brought together easily through our websites.
